The summer of 2003 will be remembered as the year that B.C. seemed to be on fire and water was dangerously scarce. Even the usually lush Lower Mainland felt the effects of low snow pack levels and little to no rain.

Without water, humans would die in a few days. Water is so important to us all, yet we take it for granted everyday.

Dean Environmental Inc. believes that the approach to water conservation must be logical and sustainable. Education, commitment and consistent monitoring/ enforcement are the ingredients to the success of all groups working together to achieve the ultimate goal. Clean, safe water for generations to come.

Brian Dean, company president, grew up in the Okanagan Valley. Many of his childhood memories include time spent hiking, fishing and camping in this beautiful area. The important role that water plays in all of our lives encouraged Brian to turn a passion into a career.

It is has been almost ten years since Brian graduated from university. Since then he has experienced and enjoyed many challenges while watching the company grow. Looking at what the company's past has offered and the present success it is enjoying it is obvious that there is much more to offer our existing clientele and the ones that we have not yet met..

Over the years the staff at Dean Environmental has grown to fit the needs of our clients. We are proud to have a wildlife/fisheries biologists, and certified water treatment plant and wastewater plant operators on our team. The past decade has been an exciting one and the next few should be even more so based on the path that we are thrilled to be following.
